SMPlayer 0.8.2 Adds 6.1 and 7.1 Audio Support

SMPlayer, a complete media player for Linux which is based on MPlayer as the playback engine and uses its own codecs, it’s now at version 0.8.2.

SMPlayer 0.8.2 is not a major release, but it’s does introduce audio support for 6.1 and 7.1 configurations, along with a few other smaller improvements.

Highlights of SMPlayer 0.8.2:

• A skinnable interface has been added and several skins were included in the package;
• Support for 6.1 and 7.1 audio output has been implemented;
• A "Privacy" section in the preferences dialog has been added. Users can now disable saving the recent files or URLs;
• The main window can be moved by dragging the video area.
