Introducing Ubuntu WordReference Lens for Unity

Tuesday, January 1, 2013

The Ubuntu WordReference Lens is an Unity Lens that permits customers to simply and rapidly translate phrases, right from Unity Sprint, via WordReference.

It supports the following languages: Romanian, Greek, Turkish, Italian, French, Czech, Polish, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and Arabic.

To mount the Unity WordReference Lens plugin in your Ubuntu running process, open up a terminal window ( strike the CTRL+ALT+T key mixture ) and paste the subsequent instructions ( 1 by a single, striking Enter right after every one ):

sudo add -apt-repository ppa:baracchi-lorenzo/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y install translator

You will need to restart your session soon after the installation. This Lens is accessible only for the Ubuntu twelve.04 LTS ( Exact Pangolin) and Ubuntu twelve. 10 (Quantal Quetzal) working systems.
