Dion Waiters scored 31 points and seven assists during Friday's Rising Stars game, but it wasn't enough to earn MVP honors.
The Cavs have been encouraged by Waiters' attitude in recent weeks, as he's been more engaged and team-oriented, so hopefully this nice game on a national stage will carry over after the break. He and Tim Hardaway Jr. lit up the arena by exchanging baskets throughout the second half, scoring 31 out of 33 points during one stretch, but the duel didn't please Waiters' coach, Nate McMillan. "They made some incredible shots down the stretch," McMillan said. "Really, I would like to see a little more team play, a little more ball movement as opposed to Gladys Knight over here and the Pips over here." Feb. 15 - 1:37 pm et
