15 Times Robin Thicke Over Shared In 'Get Her Back' Video About Paula Patton ... - Entertainmentwise

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

Robin Thicke's new album Paula is set to be released on July 1 and it's reportedly his attempt to win back estranged wife Paula Patton. Following their break-up earlier this year and with the release of the first single Get Her Back, it's clear the Blurred Lines singer isn't holding back.

Yep, there's no thinly-veiled message here, fans won't find it hard to read into his lyrics, because Robin has basically laid it on the line. The video for the first single dropped today and shows a beaten up Robin, topless, while crying about his former lover who he wants to "get back".

The video shows an exchange of messages, which could easily have actually been taken from one of their real life conversation about the breakdown of their marriage, and it's REALLY emotional and pretty brutal for Robin to put out there.

Touching on 'drinking too much' and not being able to 'make love', the singer seems serious about getting back his high school sweeetheart.

1. The video begins with, we're guessing Paula:

2. Then there is crying Robin (he appears pained throughout the video):

3. We kind of get an inkling that it was Robin's fault for the break-up:

4. And she's not happy:

5. Seriously not happy:

6. Robin tries to win her round, which is the bit that makes it CLEAR it's about Paula:

7. But she's clearly not having any of it:

8. Getting to the root of the problem perhaps:

9. It seems that the break-up could be related to one particular incident, that left the singer's wife mortified:

10. And he's pretty apologetic about the whole thing:

11. But it looks like 'sorry' isn't going to cut it:

12. And things have really fallen apart:

13. It's not just emotionally broken down either:

14. And the chances of getting back together appear slim:

15. But Thicke appears confident he can win her back:

We don't exactly know how well this will go down with Paula. Yes, he seems pretty apologetic, but putting it all out there might not be the best way to win her back. Plus it's still a music video that includes a hot, nearly naked model. He just can't help himself can he?
