Calif. nightmare nanny is a scam artist: says Bracamonte family - Uncover California

The California nanny who refused to leave the home of her employer's family is a "scam artist," according to a Bracamonte family, which is still struggling to get rid of her.

Marcella and Ralph Bracamonte of Upland, Calif., had hired 64-year-old Diane Stretton for house cleaning and caring for their three kids. Marcella Bracamonte told media persons that Stretton initially performed her duties well but after sometime she stopped working altogether.

Marcella Bracamonte said she was frustrated because Stretton had an attitude about caring for the children and lending her a hand in preparing meals. But, she was always ready to eat when meals were ready. Marcella claimed that she had to quit her business that she was trying to start because of Stretton.

Sharing her awful experience, Marcella said, "A month later she informs me she has COPD . I saw her start panting for breath every time I had asked her to wash a dish. However, when it came to swimming or going to a museum, she never skipped a beat. She is a scam artist."

When the family fired Stretton, she refused to move out of the home. However, on Sunday, Marcella announced that the troublesome nanny agreed to move out, but on some conditions. She said the nanny telephoned the family's attorney and said she could move out of the house by 4th of July on certain conditions.

It is not the first time that Stretton harassed a family so much. Her name is on the California's Vexatious Litigant List for frequently bringing merit-less lawsuits against others.
