Nintendo’s legendary game designer and producer has revealed insights that Nintendo would be releasing the new Star Fox game ahead of The Legend of Zelda for its Wii U console. Although the designer has given a date for the release but had earlier said in June 2014 that the game was about a year away from completion.

During the game awards held in Las Vegas, the Mario developer confirmed in a video presentation that the game would be released in 2015 before the next installment of The Legend of Zelda. He also pointed out that the game would be employing some new techniques to take the Gamepad experience to the next level.

Previewers of the game stated that the players can now control the Airwing with the analogue sticks of the Gamepad when aiming and firing using motion controls. Special transition effects are employed by morphing the ship into a land tank for taking on enemies on the ground.

The game also sees the creation of a new interactive two player mode where one player controls the helicopter like craft whereas the other player controls a tiny robot which can be released to collect valuable items or attack foes in a limited area.
