How to Switch Back to the Old Compose Window in Gmail Screenshot Guide
Gmail's new compose window is now becoming the default. Over the next few days, everyone will have it enabled. The good news, for those who hate it, is that you can still switch back. The bad news is that you won't be able to for long.
The new compose window is designed to make it easier to multitask, compose a new message while you're reading a reply and so on.
To do this, Google has squeezed the compose window quite a lot. If you find yourself staring at the new composer and not knowing how to get rid of it fast enough, here's what you need to do.
In the bottom right corner of the compose window, you have to open it if it's not already, you'll notice a small arrow pointing down labeled "More options."
Click on it and it will open a menu with several options. At the very top, you'll see "Temporarily switch back to old compose."
