As they were one of the first acts to be announced for the 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards, fans were delighted to finally see what Nick had put together with new friends and country crooners Dan Smyers, 27, and Shay Mooney, 23,. The trio brought some real soul to the evening’s lineup, as they performed an incredible mashup for Nick’s first two solo hits and the duo’s latest single, ‘Nothin‘ Like You’. And you haven’t heard anything until you’ve heard ‘Jealousy’ and ‘Chains’ set to a new arrangement filled with soul and country twang! Outstanding!

For Dan + Shay, the evening was extra special, as the guys received their second ACM Award nomination for Vocal Duo of the Year. You can definitely understand why after that performance! Give us more Nick + Dan + Shay! It all equals perfection!

And then of course, there’s Nick Jonas. These days, if there is an award show, this JoBro is there! He was at the Grammys, he killed it at the iHeartRadio Music Awards — hell, he hosted AND opened the Kids’ Choice Awards this year. Talk about the hustle! Perhaps next year, he’ll be vying for an ACM Award all his own — we put nothing passed him!
